Samsung has always surprised us with their flagship smartphone and tablet. The out of the world features they included in their flagship devices amazed us, and received massive accolades from both the tech enthusiasts and the experts, all over the globe. While the last flagship smartphone of the company, the Galaxy S8, has been sold like a hot cake, that’s too within just two months of the launch of the handset, the last flagship tablet of the company irked many controversies. The Korean tech conglomerate released the Galaxy Note 7 last year with loads of expectation and to compete with Apple, but the battery disaster of the device has put water on all their hopes. The Galaxy Note 7 comes with a mammoth battery, and thus the device gets heated. Even in few cases, the battery of the Galaxy Note 7 exploded due to the excessive heat.
So after the battery fiasco, Samsung is determined to launch the next iteration of this tablet series, the Galaxy Note 8 with much precision and excellence. The Galaxy Note 8 is the last hope for Samsung to regain the lost pride and one mistake will force them to stop the production of the entire tablet series. So when the Galaxy Note 8 is coming out? Samsung last year released the Galaxy Note 7 a bit early than the usual, but after the battery debacle, they are going back to the basic. So the experts believe that the Korean tech giant will unveil the Galaxy Note 8 during the IFA 2017 Berlin event which is going to take place from the 1st to 6th September.
Now other important question which is bugging the tech enthusiasts is what will be the probable features and specs of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 8? According to various trusted sources, the Galaxy Note 8 is going to feature the biggest screen of the entire lineup with a display size of 6.2 inch. Although we are not entirely sure about the exact pixel resolution of the upcoming device, it is confirmed that the Galaxy Note 8 will flaunt a 4K display. Another notable change Samsung is planning to include is the edge-to-edge, bezel-less design; just like the Galaxy S8.
Under the hood, the forthcoming tablet is expected to sport the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset coupled with massive 6GB of RAM. The SD 835 SoC is made of the latest 10nm technology and it decreases the power consumption by 40% and betters the performance of the device by 27%. On the optics front, the Galaxy Note 8 would sport a dual-lens camera setup with one telephoto lens and the one would be a wide angle lens.
The soon to be launched flagship of Samsung would run on the latest Android operating system. So if Google launches the Android O by the time the Galaxy Note 8 releases, then it would surely run on that. Else, the phablet would run on the current Android Nougat 7.0 operating system.
